Current Focus
Areas
The main focus of
our research is on the development of novel algorithms and tools for
protein structure and function analysis and study of structure-function
relationships in proteins.
Selected research projects:
Development of new
metrics for protein similarity comparisons based on topological descriptors
derived from the Delaunay tessellation.
Development of new method for protein structure alignment based on topological
substructure descriptors.
Development of novel methods for the analysis of structure-function correlations
in proteins using computational mutagenesis.
Development of the domain assignment methods in multidomain protein structures
based on the properties of Delaunay networks.
Development of scoring functions for evaluation of protein-ligand interactions
for the transmembrane pore proteins (in collaboration with Dr.
Vladimir Karginov).
