After that, she worked for four years as Bioinformatics Scientist at the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) in Bethesda, MD, where she provided scientific support for major NCBI databases including CDD, MMDB, KOG, and COG. Since 2004 she has been working as Bioinformatics Analyst at The Institute for Genomic Research (TIGR), now a division of the J. Craig Venter Institute (JCVI), in Rockville, MD. She is responsible for annotation and comparative analysis of several fungal genomes.
